Colleen was born in Baltimore, Maryland and raised in Littleton, Colorado. She graduated from Brigham Young University in 1977 with a BA in Education and thoroughly enjoyed her time teaching first graders.  A district manager position with a cosmetic company took her to St. Louis, Missouri where she lived until 1984 and later to Colorado where she renewed her lifelong love of skiing. She returned to Utah settling in Salt Lake City where her many experiences moving sparked an interest in assisting others with the task of relocating beginning a career in real estate in 1996.

During her first year with Chapman-Richards Real Estate, she was acknowledged as Rookie of the Year and during the following 12 years was consistently a top producer achieving Masters Club, Honors Club and Presidents Club status in addition to being awarded trips to Mexico, Costa Rica and Hawaii for performance as a top producer. In 2010, the opportunity arose to live in Dover, Delaware. While there, Colleen was an agent at Patterson Swartz Real Estate and also took advantage of her education background. As a homebound teacher, she assisted children who were not allowed to attend school because of health or behavioral issues which became one of the most inspirational experiences of her life. Salt Lake's quality of life called Colleen back once more and she is currently in the company of excellence at The Group Real Estate. She shares their philosophy of individual personal service utilizing her experience and dedication as constant keys to her success.

Colleen delights in her children Josh, Mindy, Lorin and Collin who are grown and pursuing exciting careers in publishing, teaching, music and sports.  She also loves spending time with her three adorable grandkids.
