Meg Averett
Meg Averett is a dedicated and respected real estate professional in the Salt Lake community with decades of experience. Born and raised in the Avenues of Salt Lake City, Meg has been selling real estate since 1978 and has dedicated her life to the service of her friends, clients and neighbors.
Meg graduated from the University of Utah with a BS degree in Political Science and History inspiring her passion for politics and activism. She has consistently been involved in working towards justice and speaking up for those without a voice. Before pursuing a career in real estate, Meg worked at the Senior Citizen Law Center of Legal Services and became a loyal advocate for senior citizens facing discrimination in housing situations. Her interest in real estate quickly became a new career path and she has never looked back.
Throughout her career, Meg has been a top producing agent at several prominent real estate brokerages and joined The Group in 2023. She has earned her Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation and has been recognized as a Lifetime Member of the Salt Lake Board of Realtors® Million Dollar Club. She was named Salesperson of the Year for the Salt Lake Board in 1988 - a one-time recognition.
Meg is a fantastic listener and loves helping clients find the perfect place to fit the next chapter of their lives. She also enjoys welcoming newcomers to Utah and introducing them to all of the vibrant culture and community Salt Lake City has to offer.
