Sally began her extensive real estate career, representing the rights and interests of both Buyers and Sellers, in the early 1970’s, and she has assisted hundreds of Buyers and Sellers and earned many professional distinctions during her successful career.

She is a native of Palo Alto California, but was lured to the University of Utah by the beauty of the state and its skiing opportunities. She graduated with a BA and honors in English and Philosophy. After teaching high school English in the Salt Lake District for several years, she was encouraged to pursue a career in residential real estate.

As an active member of the Salt Lake Board of Realtors, she has been awarded the Professional Excellence Award, the Honor Society Master Status Award, and is a Lifetime Member of the Million Dollar Club. She served as Vice President of the Salt Lake Board of Realtors, was a board member of the Utah Association of Realtors, and has served numerous terms of both the Salt Lake and the Utah State Professional Standards Committees.  She is a trained and experienced real estate mediator, giving her a skill which serves her clients well in navigating their path to a successful transaction.  She has earned the CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) and GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) designations.  She has her Broker’s license and is a Realtor Emeritus.

Sally has always been involved in the community having served on the Board of Directors of the Road Home, the Junior League of Salt Lake, and United Way allocation panels.  She served on the University of Utah Alumni Board for 6 years and was Vice President for 3 of those years.

One of Sally’s greatest joys has been working with her daughter, Jennifer Gaskill.  They have built a successful and respected partnership at the Ramsey Group and now The Group.  Sally has 2 grown children and 4 grandchildren. In her free time she enjoys flying their hot air balloon throughout the US, in Mexico and Europe.  She loves to golf, ski and travel, and root for the Utes!
