Richard Lockwood
Principal Broker
Richard Lockwood is the Principal Broker and founder of The Group. He has been engaged in the real estate profession in Salt Lake City since 1986. His experience includes working on the staff at the Salt Lake Board of REALTORS®, a successful sales career as a REALTOR®, and many years as a Principal Broker. He is recognized in the local community as a real estate broker who is dedicated to furthering the professionalism of the industry, and providing a high level of support for his agents and their clients. A native of Rapid City, South Dakota, Richard came to Utah in 1977 to attend the University of Utah. Following graduation from the U of U, he spent 5 years in management with Marriott Hotels in Albuquerque, New Mexico and New Orleans, Louisiana. He and his family returned to Utah in 1986, and he entered the real estate industry. Richard, and his wife Susan, have two married daughters who also make their homes in Salt Lake City. He is a dog lover, avid reader and enjoys spending time with his family. Richard is active in the community and is grateful for all the opportunities that life in Utah offers especially outdoor activities and recreation.
Christina Pellegrino
Marketing Manager
Chris enjoyed growing up on historic Long Island, New York. She would earn a BA in Studio Art with a concentration in Art History from the University College at Oneonta in rural upstate New York. There she trained in the classic disciplines of printmaking, serigraphy, oil/water color painting and sculpture. After graduation Chris apprenticed in an art/frame shop enhancing her understanding of design, tools and materials. Together with her husband, she has traveled extensively by motorcycle throughout the United States and Europe. They settled in Salt Lake City within easy reach of the stunning mountains and National Parks of the American West. Chris is a working artist and shows in a local gallery but for the most part, her career has been commercial art lending her unique vision to refined design and quality marketing presentation. She was proud to work for Ramsey Group Real Estate for 25 years and after their close, was delighted to be invited to join Richard Lockwood and the professionals at The Group. In addition to the arts, Chris enjoys gardening and has a special affection for animals. Her love of community has her lending her talents to various charities whenever time permits.
Sara Lockwood
Marketing Assistant
Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Sara Lockwood is a connoisseur of local restaurants and music guru. She graduated in 2008 from Westminster College with a B.A. in Communication and Minor in Sociology. During her time at Westminster, Sara became passionate about politics, pop culture and social issues. She also sharpened her PR and marketing skills while interning for the Salt Lake City Mayor's Office and Urban Blues. Before attending college, Sara started her career in radio. From 2004 to 2011, she was a weekend on-air personality on 97.1 ZHT. Working in radio furthered Sara's love for music. She enjoys listening to everything from Frank Sinatra to Lady GaGa. Her free time is mostly spent with her husband Derek and their two Chihuahuas, Buzz and Brewster. Sara is also a vegetarian and avid runner.
